Textile work made using a variety of fabrics and other media. I mostly use fabrics which I paint and print myself, either constructing a piece of work using applique or stitching directly into a painting which I have made on calico. Hand and machine stitch is used to build up texture and define shapes. I also like to incorporate beads, wire, paper, metal leaf and found objects.
